The Jalan Padang Garong is the main street in Kota Bharu and most foreign visitors to the city stay on this street or near to it. The Stesen Gas Kota Bharu, which is the local bus station, is located at the top end of the Jalan Padang Garong. The other place where foreign visitors stay is further South in the city near the large KB Mall. Some of the city’s better hotels are located near the KB Mall.
