About Kuah Jetty
Kuah Jetty is located some distance from the beach resorts and major attractions in Langkawi. Kuah, which is near to Kuah Jetty, is the major town on Langkawi but has little of interest for visitors and holiday makers arriving into Kuah Jetty will want to hire a car or take a taxi to another part of the island on arrival. If you need to stay for a night near Kuah Jetty to catch a connecting ferry then the shopping centre by Kuah Jetty is a good place to go for a meal and buy anything you might need.
From Kuah Jetty there are very frequent ferry services to Kuala Perlis and Kuala Kudah on the Malay mainland from 07:00 to 19:00 every day.
